During the oracular merge, Debian dropped a patch, but now requires a
newer version of dmsetup than we had at the time. The patch was added
back in as an Ubuntu delta[0].

Removed notepad++ what causes using not 7.4MiB but 1.3GB
Still some ~800MB using left packages

Hello Erv,
Just wanted you to know what I did and found out.
I tried the update grub command when I was in Linux mint OS, it did not have
any effect.
Then I remembered reading somebody else has the same issue, no effect until
they went into something else on their computer, it had 3-4 letters,
Yes this kernel update did the trick after running the sudo update-grub
command from my Ubuntu software and then going back into my Mint
software.

drop the 'WaylandEnable=false' line from /etc/gdm3/custom.conf and do
get a login screen (shown on the internal display only).

impossible to install/upgrade to due to dependencies missing. More
specifically the libobs0t64 version required is not available in noble.

This is inaccurate. I just upgraded to it on my noble system. Use `sudo
apt upgrade obs-studio/noble-backports` and you should be good.

reproduce this today using the autoinstall you provided. I see that we
setup the dm_crypt device correctly but it looks like we're missing a
step saving off the key data:
