Relative to the screen resolution - when I added the boot flag mentioned
there to /etc/default/grub, rebooted and logged into an X (not Wayland)

I've pushed the changes based on your comments to the MP above. I've
left the signal set for podman as (int, quit, term, kill).
Do you think that signal set should be tighter, or is that a good
compromise?
If that seems ok with you, I'll happily handle the PR upstream at

user managers began interpreting the signal RTMIN+25 as a command to
daemon-reexec. This was done so that:

Filezilla crashes very quickly during uploads of even small folders
containing files. It appears that FileZilla starts the transfers and the
target directory is created, but none of the files are present on the
target server after the crash.

One of the last comments suggests that it works again (without any
tweaking) with BlueZ 5.73, but we have 5.72 in 24.04.

This error occurred on my PC when booting Ubuntu from 22.04 in any
flavor, in Zorin and also with Pop!_OS 22.04.
Looks like a new kernel issue. It seems to me that it has to do with
Kernel 6.5, 6.8 +.
