The issue is probably related to Wayland and Nvidia drivers then.
Doesn't look to good for Ubuntu if prospect users try the live system

The compiler seems to drop the function if compiled with lto.
Don't know if this is the issue of gcc or this specific function. That's why I

I can confirm that adding this file fixes the problem on Ubuntu 22.04
(using Nvidia 3080 card):

I did not have to set NVreg_TemporaryFilePath
With this set I can also use Wayland but that br

Instead of gray, my monitor displays pink-gray. Ubuntu
Blank screen on 22.04 after upgrade. Re-installed nvidia 510 driver.
