The latest go-tpm2[1] seems to support SM3_256.
I tried to build test snapd and kernel snaps but got a dependency issue.
The latest secboot[2] still uses old go-tpm2 API.
I applied the attached patch in comment#17 to go-tpm2[3] which is currently
used by snapd.

I'm having this issue on a new Metabox NH77HK (built by Clevo) on
Kubuntu 20.04. Elantech touchpad. I've resolved for now with psmouse
driver, but scrolling doesn't work and it doesn't disable while typing.

a new computer and then attempted to restore my file system from my
backup. After rsyinc-ing, I attempted to give "sude apt-get update &&

When a video is being played and then gets paused, vlc starts to drain
memory until a complete system hang occurs.
Steps to reproduce:
- play a mp4 video (haven't tried with other formats yet)
- pause the video
- leave the vlc window op
The fact is that: 1) the system touches the device (sr0) when the user does not
touch the device (at boot and constantly while the system is running),
2) these calls from the first paragraph cause errors.
We want to 1) fix these errors, 2) remove unnecessary calls to the sd0 device.

14ITL5. The kennel is: 5.11.0-25-generic, and "cat
/sys/class/dmi/id/chassis_type" give me a number: 10. blacklisting

Every once in a while (it's been three times this week), the entire
system will just stop. There's still electricity running. The keyboard
is lit up, and the monitor is black (electricity-running black, and not
shutdown-black). There's no picture and no sound. Just immediately

downgraded nvidia stack.
Will now look at upgrading the firmware as suggested to see if that
