update for linux-base and like before fix has not been merged yet.

was now 111Mb free
I'm adding a 'me too' as my impish installation included the 'vanilla-
gnome-desktop' package before the update to GNOME 40 occurred. For
reasons not relevant here, any attempt to remove that package resulted
in dpkg output that referred to there being too many errors.

There isn't any supported stable graphics driver for "nvidia quadro nvs
290" after Ubuntu version 20.04. So if you can't replace the graphics
card then I would recommend staying with Ubuntu 20.04.
