After reading a bit more about this issue, I can see where the conflict
happens:
1/ systemd requires any container manager to mount /sys read-only,
according to https://systemd.io/CONTAINER_INTERFACE/ in order to make
udevd behave properly.
2/ NetworkManager checks for /sys to be read-only in ord
Removed the link for sof-tgl-h.ri in /lib/firmware/intel/sof/. No
errors about file not found. Same error as above.

This is a scripted bug report about ADT failures while running rtl8812au
tests for linux-hwe-5.11/5.11.0-20.21~20.04.1 on focal. Whether this is
caused by the dep8 tests of the tested source or the kernel has yet to
be determined.

Confirmed that rtl8812au (4.3.8.12175.20140902+dfsg-0ubuntu13~20.04.3)
can be built and loaded on a focal amd64 VM with both -generic 5.4 and
-hwe-5.11 kernels.
Autopkgtests also completed successfully with hwe-5.11:

Confirmed that xtables-addons (3.9-1ubuntu0.2~20.04.3) can be built and
loaded in a Focal amd64 VM running both -generic 5.4 and -hwe-5.11
kernels.
Autopkgtests also completed successfully with hwe-5.11:

PPA might be as solution.
but this functionality worked in 18.04, but does not work in 20.04

Sorry about the delay. The merge tool was not working for me:
dpkg-mergechangelogs ../../debian/openscap/debian/changelog
../../ubuntu-impish-original/openscap-1.2.17/debian/changelog
./debian/changelog.bak > debian/changelog
This was giving me a file with only the 1.2.17 changelog and no entries
Confirming in impish which currently has the same version of gnome-
characters.
