where I am in my home though, network manager always connects to one

repo. 5.6.2 still fails, 5.6.18 works fine. 5.6.0 and 5.6.1 both have

I have this problem as well.
You can work around it by adding the following line to
/etc/default/collectd
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/python3.8/config-3.8-x86_64-linux-
gnu/libpython3.8.so
this will force it to load the python shared library.

After upgrading to 5.6.0-1011-oem it seems sound is back without the
alsa change above.
This will take you away from the 5.4 kernel shipped by default on ubuntu
- use at your own risk.
You will have to periodically check for and install newer versions on
your own after installing this.
