I am using "System76 - Oryx Pro" laptoop and using the below kernel

Meanwhile, you can disable the seccomp filter by running (as root):

I have the same problem, even worse with a delay of 25 seconds between
program start and dock update.

However, removing snapd did not also remove ubuntu-desktop (seem to
remember it did do so in previous versions) and sort of kept it also for

I confirm that the hang on boot issue still occurs after the reinstall
of Ubuntu 20.04.

a better workaround is probably to use flock or something like that so
that the invocations don't run at the same time. mount already depends
on util-linux which provides flock, so that checks out for the
dependency question.

It looks like the likely cause here is that sshd loads pam, which calls
pam_env, which reads /etc/environment, which has a different PATH than
the default one provided by systemd.
