Hi,
In our tests logs we see that focal is slower than other systems like
bionic. I printed all the commands we run with the times and noticed the
main diff on times is when running different systemd commands. So I did
a very small script to compare basic calls that we use in our snapd test
suite.

Thanks ... I reviewed log files this morning and had a look at output
from journalclt. Appears the system is good to go. I guess going
through and blowing out the machine and re-seating everything into their

It seems that the rt3290 wireless chipset acts very flaky under 3.11.1,
my last kernel before this one was 3.10.3 and it didn't have this
problem. I'm currently compiling 3.10.10 to see if it works again there
