Workaround data point: On Acer C720P, using linux-oem kernel
(4.15.0-1065-oem) suspend works fine. Using 5.3.0-nn causes instant
boot on wake after suspend. I've not tried 5.0.0.
I'm pinning 4.15 for now but would love to run current.
When it fails the log stops after "PM: suspend entry (deep)"
Additional note:
landscape-server installation as we speak "Depends" on ceph-common.
ceph-common is no longer needed/used in the landscape context since autopilot
code got removed.
I'll propose a MP to Simon to remove the Depend from Landscape server.
Nevertheless, I think the situation observe

Hi,
I've been testing some of the more recent kernel versions. It seems that
in 5.5.0-050500rc5-generic both audio and snapd issues are not present.
Also so far I have not experienced any hangs, and I hope it stays the
same.

According to the report from comment #6, of the 17 vendorized packages
runc uses, 16 exist as debs in universe, and 1 (go-criu) isn't packaged
at all.
We can de-vendorize the 16 packages, assuming the versions we have in
universe are ok (some are ahead of the vendored code, some are behind).

The first thing I notice is that the kernel doesn't have a driver for
your GPU because it seems to be QEMU's "-vga std" option. So Xorg
defaults to 800x600 and does not support any other modes besides the
default one...

with the live installer can be caused by the person's disk/DVD/CD

New device IDs for CML PCH-H are landed in v5.4-rc1 and linux-next. So
far the known list are:
