Maybe make the reload also a check.
If it fails do not go any further as it implies here udev has some general
issue out of control of your package and the next commands would fail for sure.

Hi,
by accident (fortunately?) I ran into this after some testing for getting this
promoted to main which seemed fine.
But later on in the container I had it installed I got issues and wanted
to report them so they can be fixed before 20.04 releases as I'll assume
it will th

Normally, as this is not really a high-impact bug, I would be a bit
reluctant to accept it as an SRU. Since every SRU introduces risks,
especially if it's in a big core package like qtbase. But since I see
there's activity here (and testers available) + the patch is rather
straightforward, then oh
On some deeper checks I found an issue (see bug 1853436) that is ok for
now, but should be resolved before this goes into 20.04 for real.
Furthermore while the review was all ok there is one bit missing, it seems I
was too fast on this ...
Foundations-bugs was suggested and acked back then on bug

Volume increasing or decreasing doesn't work.
I can only toggle sound on (= 100%) and off (= 0%).

@GrzesiekC: I couldn't find any trace of a thunderbird apparmor profile
in official Ubuntu packages (apart from the ubuntu-email abstraction).
So I'm not sure where this profile you have enabled on your machine
comes from, but not from the archive, that's for sure. I'd suggest
disabling it:

I will attach a full dmesg from 19.10 when I get back home. In the meantime I
can say that as far as the driver messages go the only difference I have found
is that the following line is present in the live dmesg, but missing from the

I'm setting as invalid for snapd, as there is nothing snapd is doing
