Thanks for the logs. It seems like the BIOS does not handle S3 exit
properly and leaves the Thunderbolt host router unconfigured. I wonder
if there is a BIOS upgrade for this system and have you tried that?

See screenshot with comparison gparted and gnome-disk-utility, the
display of gparted is correct. The display of the gnome-disk utility was
distorted after I deleted the swap partition, recreating that partition
with gparted did not correct the display. Rebooting did not corre

After blacklisting nuoveau and installing nvidia driver, there was no overheat
shutdown, but the cpu is on full speed all the time. and the tempetature is 87
celsius constantly.
I tried disabling pstate, using tlp, neither worked so far.

After locking my screen and trying to log in, here's what I see in the
log corresponding to a delay in the login prompt being shown.
I have not configured fingerprint authentication and never will, so I
don't know why this is spawned or failing to spawn.

Accepted python-cryptography into bionic-proposed. The package will
build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/python-cryptography/2.1.4-1ubuntu1.3 in a few hours, and then in the
-proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this
Last time, I tried to boot Kubuntu 18.10 with kernel 4.15: black screen
and no system init. So I don't know if it works or not.
