After upgrading from 18.10 to 19.04 my Ubuntu desktop started lagging
madly. It became very difficult to use and I discovered the problem to
be tracker-extract running and very rapidly leaking memory up to 100%
and breaching into swap memory. I tried killing it several times b
In my experience those error messages should be ignored. They are never
related to connectivity problems.
Otherwise, if you want to investigate "Not enough free handles to

First of All, you guys have done a fine job at getting the dock in GNOME
3 to be like the wonderful dock from Unity 7.
With that said, there is one missing feature that I'm having a hard time
doing without.
In the Unity7 dock, you could hover over an application's launcher,

As a user, after I open my laptop to resume using it after it suspended
by closing it, the background and some parts of some windows have this
"white noice" instead.
I can get rid of it if I restart gnome (alt+f2 / r / enter) but it's
still very annoying.

When I'm connecting to ssh with Remmina window appears but theres no icon on
dock/launcher. I see window and I can navigate to it by alt+tab but icon on
dock/launcher is missing. I need to restart Gnome by alt+f2 and type `r` to see
missing icon.

@Dmitrii - we were at the "junk in ..." in comment #21 already.
The "broken padding" is interesting but might be the same issue with a
different message as the newer kernel understands slightly more about it.
That it does only occur with Xenial-HWE but on the same initrd not with
the base Xenial
How will kbd_mode know whether it's safe or not?
Adding a -f option to kbd_mode will at best break some *other* existing
scripts, while this very script should really definitely *NOT* pass -f
to setupcon. That is the nonsense which needs to be fixed.
