Hello,
In addition to #1805350, shouldn't this package package also be removed
from the archive?
AFAICT, there is not hard dependency on a policy package anymore so this
package is not needed and can probably be confusing to users, see:

After a recent update to my Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, this error pops in. The
solution was to use the similar "killall nautilus" and it fixes it.

Maybe lock screen should always happen before the screen turns off?
Or, anytime lock screen happens it should also turn off the monitors?
Is there any work around that I can apply?

Please open this bug back up. It is not fixed!
All monitors go off initially, but as soon as the lock-screen happens,
my laptop's built-in monitor comes back on and stays on forever. This is
an expensive 4K monitor and this bug is burning it up.
The only work-around I've found is to turn off scre
amano, please open a new bug for new issues instead of commenting on old
closed bugs.

Ryzen 1800X freeze -
I have tested it on 5.0 and still experienced the soft lockups just as
frequently as with 4.20.
However, I am currently testing kernel 5.0 with PAGE_TABLE_ISOLATION disabled
and it seems that it may be a fix.
Although maybe it's a bit premature to say that, since my experience with this
issue (
Well, it's a pity to know 5.0 might not fix it. I was really hoping it
would. On the other hand, it's good to know so many other people have
this issue, which means I'm not alone in hoping it'll be at some point
fixed.

gnome-shell-extension-dash-to-panel upstream claims to be 3.32-ready.
I have updated to v19 (disco included v18) & performed basic tests using
gnome-shell-3.31.92-1ubuntu1 and have not observed any issues. Feel free
to request additional tests.

I have to say that this bug is a dissapointment. The whole samba support
in Ubuntu since 18.04 is abysmal. Prior to this, I was able to access
