I am now studying the Grub2/Upgrading documentation and I intend to
perform the upgrade. Then I suppose I will not need a repair of the
menu.lst creation software, so we may close the complaint.
Removing menu.lst did not help, update-grub still did not re-create
menu.lst

What's the status of the verification here? The libsdl2 xenial SRU has
been marked for removal due to the lack of fix verification. Could

I've been testing the patches you linked above on Fedora 29 against
4.19.15-302 for about two weeks and so far I haven't had wifi disappear.
I'm reasonably certain that I've lost bluetooth at least once so I'm
not quite sure whether the results are just a conicidence.

I'm using deja-dup for backup of my home directory. I don't have sudo
permissions on the machine. I have only my home in backup and all files are
owned by me. Still I always get this message:

There are no more 'apparmor="DENIED"' entries. But the disk still
bounced back. I see entries:

So if I understand well, this is a server rather than a client? You
should make that clearer when fixing MIRs, so it's absolutely unabiguous
whether something is a client program or a server part of the desktop.
