reloading the ic2_hid module.
It also works to reinitialize just the hid driver for the touchscreen
(rather than reloading the entire module) by running:

I think I found the problem when looking at the source which is related to
glibc.
The fs quota plugin is not compatible with the shipped glibc.

What I forgot to mention is that a crash only happens after a sleep. I

Also, according to your kernel log (CurrentDmesg.txt) the message
happens along with a bunch of other messages relating to the system
suspending/resuming. Maybe it is trying to suspend and just failed to do
so?...

It sounds more like a kernel issue (or hardware) if your Bluetooth
dongle is getting reset:
[57812.977570] usb 1-1.3: reset full-speed USB device number 18 using
ehci-pci
so reassigning to the kernel.
Also, if your Bluetooth adapter is an external one then please try a
different USB port.

Same problem on Lubuntu 18.04 with the build from the most current
ubuntu repo (1.0.5 I believe. 2:1.0.5+dfsg2-4.1). The 1.8.4 version
from the arduino website works fine.

Running startx starts X just fine, but at login I just get a blank
screen with a blinking cursor. If I hit Alt+F I can get a console
which allows me to login and run 'startx' at which point Gnome starts
normally after entering my keychain unlock password.
