GPFS mmfsd daemon is mapping shared tracing buffer(allocated from kernel driver
using vmalloc) and then writing trace records from user space threads in
parallel. While the SIGBUS happened, the access virtual memory address is in
the mapped range,
The problem resides in virtual machines with some kind of broken
consoles (or not correctly handled ones).
I narrowed down the problem to the the following command that is run on
setupcon:

If an admin uses ethtool to change the link speed or duplex setting while the
hardware is still processing packets, a hardware hang may result.

While traffic is in-progress, use ethtool to change link speed/duplex.
