Just discovered the following: If I connect via WiFi to my network
everything works as expected. But then when I disable automatic connect
for wireless, and instead acitvate for a cable connection the auto

A lucky run I guess; repeated the test and had two machines exhibit the

I have configured, and netplan applying them to systemd-networkd; If I
restart systemd-networkd, the ip configuration is as I expect, but

Compile is fine but program crashes on the target.
Investigations revealed that the crash come from the use of atan2f in my
program. the use of atanf trigger exactly the same issue.

I wanted to see the effect myself, so I set up a new system and triggered the
issue.
Message is:

I knew this seemed somewhat known to me, it turns out I tried to work on it
once already.
But due to translations this would be a (unreasonably) huge Delta for any
Distributions to carry.
Just to say instead of:

like:

In fact it is common enough, just most of the other cases are pre-
installed so people never recognize it. But if you start with a minimal
image you'll hit a few.

virgl was more of a secondary point, as that requires guest support that
doesn't even really exist in most cases. The QXL default does seem
broken though. At least in Ubuntu 16.04 guests that leads to a broken
display if you change the resolution. I guess that's a bug in the 16.04
xserver QXL drive

x86_64 Desktop VM last night. After enabling 'proposed' and installing
all pending updates, 'groups' in a terminal returned just the users
primary group. I then restored a snapshot taken right after the 18.04

Unless your dropouts were happening exactly after the second group
rekeying, it is a different bug that would need its own bug report.
I haven't had any problems with 18.04 or any distro that uses newer
kernels and firmwares (say Arch).
