(later 6144) MB RAM out of my 2015 MacBook Pro's 8 CPU threads and 16 GB

I just compiled the kernel and it presented the error just minutes after
the first boot.
A reminder: my kernel parameters are still like this:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash button.lid_init_state=open
nvme.io_queue_depth=64"

Could not mount a video DVD unless the DVD had been inserted and then
the machine rebooted. At this point, the DVD is mounted and can be
played. After ejecting the DVD and inserting another DVD, the newer DVD
is not recognized unless the machine is rebooted.
