This is really easy to reproduce. Just arrange your screens so your
external screen is above the internal one instead of to the left or
right. Now when you switch virtual desktops the contents are moved

3.13.0-149-generic resuming after a suspend no longer works. It hangs on
a blank screen and is unresponsive. The only option is to hold the power

I circumvented this bug by 'dd'ing a fresh install onto the WD10EARS.
Given that "parted" correctly shows the disk and partitions on it, I'm more

In any case, the fact that 2.16 is OK makes me hope that on the upgrade to
bionic, the issue will automatically be over.
