There are networkmanager dispatchers which are smarter.
All of this is to allow to handle lossy/changing connections which is
far more a laptop or similar (=>NetworkManager) than a server.
We might consider moving on without a solution

I can report that the solution Martin reported works also for Monospace in
Konsole-sessions.
Because it's much better than downgrading, I removed all the changes I
described in #23 and it works like a charm.
