Not sure how this situation would happen - a readonly filesystem would
have caused libertined to crash on startup. I'm probably just going to

Certainly wouldn't hurt to add. I didn't bother do so in the first place
since all Ubuntu releases capable of running LXD also have a version of
shadow which suports uid maps.

I am here with the same problem. The recommended system requirement is
2GB of system memory and when i tried to install, there was the error
saying " You need atleast 8.6gb space to install ubuntu"
what can I do to install ubuntu? I have 8gb system storage in my

That's true, but the indicator doesn't show a log out option. It does
inside unity7, running exactly the same code, and presumably exporting
the exact same menu.

I was experimenting similar behaviour using kernel 4.6.0 x86_64 (linux
mint + cinnamon).
After upgrading to 4.8.0-040800-generic x86_64 seems fine now.
