The indicators should be placed better, instead of being
misplaced/dissappeared. Workaround is to log out and log in back, and
the indicators will be placed correctly

screwing with DHCP and port forwardings). I'll see what I can do.

This is clearly a bug and should be assigned a higher importance as it
affects the majority of all Barcode scanners even correctly set to
"France" . Most of them especially the cheaper ones need the windows way
of CAPSLOCK to read numbers and not letters eg

I'm having the same issue, linux-image-4.4.0-1009-raspi2 boots without
issues, upgrading to linux-image-4.4.0-1040-raspi2 and the Raspberry Pi
3 does not boot anymore :( - any solution except downgrading?

systemd-udev
Yesterday, I disabled NMI watch (a workaround discussed in another
similar bug report) but it still crashed this morning.
root@gorilla:~# sysctl -a|grep kernel.nmi_watchdog
kernel.nmi_watchdog = 0
Today, I upgraded to 4.8.0-34 from 4.8.0-32 kernel to see if that makes
any difference.
