I can confirm this too, on 16.10 and 4.8 kernel. The touchpad gets
detected as a mouse by udevd and libinput configures it as a mouse. Any
workarounds for this? To trick udev, that it is a trackpad? I'm afraid
this is a kernel issue, not Ubuntu/xorg :/

Could you elaborate a bit on how this bug occured, did it happen during
upgrades or when installing new packages? The reason I'm asking is that
it looks like the file in question (/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-
gnu/qt5/plugins
This bug is already fixed uplink in their 1.2-stable branch but NOT in
their 1.0-stable.

Trac still use deprecated and removed live funct

According to JQuery documentation, the live function is deprecated since
1.7 and removed since 1.9. But installed libjs-jquery is version 1.11.3

I had the opportunity to test with a brand new Golf today. Pairing
worked on the second try. After initial pairing automatically
reconnecting worked like a charm. I made one 15 min. phone call and
could not detect any problems.

I tried to file a bug report and it won't let me. I can't boot into the
4.4.0 kernel, so I can't file a bug report from that version and it
appears that I can't file the bug report from my 3.13.0 kernel either.

I have the same problem in my HP notebook on Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit) with
a replaced mini-pci Qualcomm Atheros [168c:0036] adapter.
There is an odd behaviour. When I boot the same notebook with the same
Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit) but LiveUSB, both wifi and bluetooth properly
works.
