Public bug reported:
Using 16.04 daily image: 20160919(downloading date)
With testing package for 4.8 kernel: ppa:canonical-kernel-team/unstable
Unable to suspend system correctly and after system failed to suspend
network fail to work, too.
Additional note:
Tried manual restart network-manager
JFYI: logout was working fine with 15.x release, but it seems the
package was automatically uninstalled during upgrade to 16.x. Installing
logout back through apt fixed the issue, but IMHO that is not a smooth
experience for common user.

I agree - but making it really inconvenient to use a common business VPN

I tried to reproduce the same bug on Arale but to me it looks somewhat

chromium which might resolved this issue(https://crbug.com/574343#c40).

Experienced this once again after OTA-13. This is turning into a very
annoying issue, certainly worse than bug #1544477. I don't usually get
many incoming calls, but need to pick up the ones I get as most of them
are important/urgent.
