Reboot with resync in progress= start where I left off (ex. 23%).
Reboot after full resync is done = go back to 0% and resync all 2TB all over
again.

i have the same issue too with ubuntu 16.04 mate, but also i have
changed my distro to Arch Linux and have the same issue, so i dont think
its limited to to Ubuntu.
The other issue is that the bug is intermittent. sometimes it happens
other times its not. I cannot work out what triggers this bug.
I uploaded a xenial fix to the SRU review queue.

Same issue here. KDE's screen lock had crashed, so I dropped to the
command line. I fat fingered my password into the user field after
getting it wrong initially, so the first thing I did once I got a shell
was to change my password.

This has been happening to me too. A program crashes, and the dialog
pops up showing the sigsegv etc and then I click to report the crash,
but the dialog closes and no browser window opens.
It's really bad... lots of crashes must be going un-reported on 16.04!
