I confirm for linux mint, and also with caja (changed the tittle).
The issue is random, and disappears after a reboot...
I know as a developer that random issues are extremely hard to solve as
long as we don't find a way to systematically reproduce it.

Ok, I see. I use now a binary package from SourceForge (there is already
1.15.12 by the way).
I just hoped to have a properly updated from repository application. I'm new to
a Linux world and still not used to use a binary distributions from Authors'
sites. It seems somehow awkward
