I have the same problem with a Lenovo T450s, as soon as it has been its
docking station and then undocked. The problem persists as of Kernel
4.4.0-31 #50.

When laptop lid is closed, the power, hdd & wifi led remain blue.
when the lid is re-opened, the screen remain blank (black no backlight at all)
Note: this happens across windows (except the oem windows 8.0 home
edition that came with the laptop), Debian, CentOS and now Ubunt
rbasak: the uploader is to blame on this one :-/
For some reason, I uploaded the package with only a changelog entry !

mainline) - the bug exists only on 12.04 LTS with 3.2 kernel. So the bug
is 'Confirmed' and I added 'kernel-fixed-upstream' tag.
