We do have a (limited) support for automatic updating via "TTL"
mechanism in the shell plugin; scopes opt in for it by declaring ttl
value (small = 30 seconds, medium = 5 minutes, large = 1 hour) in their
config file.

Its possible to exclude this default from certain users using:

pool created using "/dev/disk/by-id" and I get to the point of running:
apt install grub-pc
I select the 4 disks I am putting into the ZFS pool to have grub

- stemmer can be set at the configure step, but it isn't by d/rules (default is
auto)
- providing libstemmer-dev converts the auto to a yes (as happened in the

Given that it has been reported that turning hardware acceleration off
causes other regressed behaviors, then I think forcing it off in some
config setting in Puritine is probably not the right thing to do.
I'm really not sure what the right thing to do is though...

I think there was a misunderstanding. The ppa works for me now, the
segfault is gone. The Non-ppa package still has the issue described
