Can you provide some information on the status of the patch with regards
to getting it merged upstream? Has it been sent upstream, what sort of
feedback has it received, is it getting applied to a subsystem
maintainer's tree, etc?

It just happened again, and it seems very weird:
- app disappears completely (not visible in ps or initctl list, but no
crash log either)
- launcher thinks it's active, but clicking has no effect
- clicking in apps view gets it back immediately (I'm not sure it needs to
restart, have to pay more
