After the latest theme changes (that introduced blue and green to our
palette), there are incorrect colors in ubuntu-system-settings (and
elsewhere).
Partly because of hardcoded colors via UbuntuColors. Ideally, semantic
color names from the palette would be used instead.

There are multiple problems:
* DriverManager emits signal in the constructor, so it fails and nobody notices.
* The qaptFailed signal is not connected (wouldn't be received anyway, see
above)
* message "Collecting information..." would have hidden any error message
