It seems that the old mysqld failed to stop, so mysql_upgrade is talking
to the old server instead of the new one. We didn't encounter this in
testing, so we think it could be an issue on your system, but we don't
Setting it lower than 10 seconds doesn't shorten the timeout either. But
if you set it to 0 you get the info in a dialog box that persists until
you dismiss it instead of a bubble that goes away in 10 seconds.

@Michael #8, yes the problem was all of our servers run with an LDAP
backend so I could not test a server without that. Bug seems to be more
in the domain trust area or RPC.

I'd like to ask to enable support for libsoxr-based resamplers in the official
Ubuntu packages for pulseaudio. The upstream already supports libsoxr and
automatically detects its availability, so the only change really needed is to

don't work. At least they are not recognized in LibreOffice.
For instance, as regards the hyphen-sv package we need:

Yeah still have the same problem in a test install of 16.04, though
we've been using other distros since this bug occurred years ago as it
makes it totally unusable for work.
In fact I'm only posting here because I initially misread Bruce's tag
