I did install haveged which indeed seems to help quite a bit. But now
after having used an xlarge (8 CPU) instance for a while, I again get
hanging processes, like

I used that tail on /var/log/lxd/lxd.log to see what's going
i have the same issue, brand new thinkpad t450, the soundcracking is
quite displeasing.

Another data point: I tried to install 3.19 (the kernel that we have on
the buildds) on the xlarge instance, and lxc list now hangs there as
well.
I haven't yet seem lxc list hang on a large (4 CPUs) instance, but the
whole thing (running tests in containers) is still very slow. TBC on
Monday..

I've confirmed this is an issue with a Nexus 4 with keyboard and mouse
connected to a monitor, running r112 PD build
I'm seeing the following:
- in large mode, with tabs across the top
- press ctrl-t to open a new tab
Expected result:
- url field should be focus and you can start typing immediate
We should not be checking any desktop mode kind of switch for this
either, should be enough to check if we're in expanded mode. On a tablet
without mouse/keyboard it will focus the field and cause the OSK to
appear but don't think that is a bad thing necessarily as the content of
the page is horizo

the lxd images currently have 'os-prober' and 'libfreetype6' installed inside
them.
I suspect that this is a result of them having been built by building a cloud
image (with a kernel and a grub) and then removing the kernel and grub.
Anyway, the end result is that there are

seems that the patches were not integrated in the -proposed kernel

We upgraded environment to OpenStack Kilo 2015.1.2 and then we cannot
use heat autoscaling feature anymore.

- First we hit authentication failure on ec2tokens heat-api-cfn.log
in samba 4.3.3 in ubuntu xenial the problem is resolved.
The upstream bug is/was https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10440
As you can see there the proper fix is quite big, maybe not the best idea to
backport to 4.1,
but at least in the next lts version of ubuntu it should be fixed

Turns out that, the queue emptying is due to mediascanner2 reporting
that tracks have changed, then when the music-app checks that the tracks
still exist in the queue, it was giving urls with file:// at the start
(urls coming direct from qtubuntu-media playlist) causing mediascanner2
to tell us tha
