After installing 2.02~beta2-9ubuntu1.7 on Trusty, I had to set execute
right on /etc/grub.d/00_header. Now it works normally with my lvm system
partition.
So enable proposed repository, and then:
sudo apt-get install grub-efi-amd64/trusty-proposed -t trusty-proposed
sudo chmod +x /etc/grub.d/00_h
Proposed fix for 15.10 seems to work.

As upstart is replaced by systemd, I changed the /sbin/status to use the
service command:

Confirming this with using a `Microsoft Wireless Desktop 2000` dongle in
an USB 3.0 port on Ubuntu 15.04.
Fixed it by plugging in a spare wired mouse, or a Logitech dongle. We
can then adjust mouse speed as expected. Settings made there will affect
the MS desktop too.

Since QGIS 2.8.4 there is some support for GRASS 7 in the provider
plugin. The qgis-plugin-grass package still only supports GRASS 6, the
next QGIS LTR will include support GRASS 7 in qgis-plugin-grass again.
