BTW, the latest release kernel, version 3.19.0-30.34, which showed up
with regular updates on my laptop today, also has the bug.

Public bug reported:
Hi,
I had a fresh 15.10 beta install and have thrown out iptables in favour
of nftables.
Unfortunately, apt removed the docker.io package as well, since it
depends on iptables.
Shouldn't docker.io be able to deal solely with nftables without the
need for iptables?

Public bug reported:
The dim-timeout gsettings key is not set anymore when the activity-
timeout key changes, so a default value of 45sec is used for dim-timeout
regardless of the activity timeout selected by the user in the batter
plugin.
The logic to set the dim timeout value is there in

Carlos RG, I couldn't agree more with you. Please someone revert the

That's reasonable, though then this bug should be of low importance I
think, as the impact to users
The issue is most probably due to a GL operation that is not well
supported on mako.
A complete fix may not be possible if this is a hardware limitation. And
disabling the GL operation support might impact things like HTML games
for example.
Since it's mako only, I would recommend to freeze that

If the fix was released for bug #1051935 this is definitely not a
duplicate.

Thanks Christian! Some remarks:
- The introduction of data/get-motd-updates-available seems like an
unnecessary indirection to me. Instead of checking the executability of
that and run it, debian/90-updates-available could just directly do
cat /var/lib/update-notifier/updates-available 2>/dev/

Hello bugproxy, or anyone else affected,
Accepted valgrind into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/valgrind/1:3.10.1-1ubuntu3~14.04 in
a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.
it's something going wrong with the new gtk, does it probably when there
is no compositor (it does the same under wmaker), ld_preloading older
gtk makes it work
** Package changed: unity-greeter (Ubuntu) => gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu)
