We also have device-specific issues. On mako you will find it spins up
secondary CPU cores instantly when you touch the screen. On arale
however it waits a few seconds for excessive touching before spinning up

Three things I have found that solve the stuttering from premature CPU
scaling on Android:
* Don't use nesting. Having a single server architecture seems to keep it
smooth.
* Don't use double buffering (bug 1240909). Staying busy pre-rendering that
third buffer keeps clocks higher and smooth
With an up-to-date system (Ubuntu 15.10 dev) I'm still seeing this issue

i'm on meizu mx4 (stable channel -r4), when i scroll up and down on the
apps scope, unity8-dash is at 100%CPU usage. i have 60 apps installed
and the apps scope is laggy. another annoying thing is that random icons

I am using apollo broker, and mosquitto v 3.1 C client library to
interact with the broker. I am using a basic program to test the client
and the broker. While the program works nicely with qos 1, it does not
work with qos 0 and I cannot find the reason why it is not working
dinamic:
unity8.log is showing it has chosen driver "mesa" (which it should not
because it should be nested), and it's also showing driver version
0.11.0 which is very old now. So there are at least two obvious issues
there.
