I'm now back in front of the failing computer and have tried 4.2rc1 -
rc4 and they all fail in kernel panic during boot up. "BUG: unable to

Another weird workaround I discovered while investigating, just steam this way:
~user # strace -f -o/dev/null steam
It slow down UI, so it could be a race condition on steam client, though
it ran fine before upgrading ubuntu.

Which video timeline? I tried both youtube and vimeo on two devices
(arale and krillin), and I didn’t have issues seeking in the video
without triggering a bottom edge swipe (I did trigger one once in many
tests).

The Gallery-->Photos is showing for videos no indication about the
content. It could present, for example, at least the date and time from
the filename of the video. Without this it is impossible to pick-up the

Using font Ubuntu mono regular symbols ♣♦♥♠♧♢♡♤ are rendered about 1.5
times wider than monospace character wide is. That causes it to cover
next character making it very hard to read. Those characters are
U2660-U2667.

I have confirmed that this fix works by mounting an existing vivid
drive, installing the proposed cloud-init via chroot and then booting
that instance. The instance came up successfully.

I've got a Logitech K810 keyboard but unlike in this bug, no PIN prompt
will be shown, it will appear in the connected devices, but the
connectivity lights will keep flashing and keypresses will not do
anything. Do you think this is a separate issue?

broken patch, and I can infer from Raphaël's overreaching patch (and
followup discussion) what you're more likely to do as a conservative
