I can confirm this bug. I'm also using Ubuntu 14.04 with Gnome 3.10.4.
Also when I put my laptop in the docking station this behaviour happens
(but I guess that in this case a Gnome-shell restart is also initiated).

In my experience this is solved by changing the swappiness value. Usually it is
left at 60. It should be 10 or 15:

You can change it on the fly with
> sudo bash -c "echo -e 10 > /proc/sys/vm/swappiness"
and make it stick with
> sudo bash -c "echo 'vm.swappiness =

Same issue. Suddently there is no response to CTRL+ALT+t . Occurs a few times a

I'd also be very nice, if you could somehow manage to add a View Mode
for the app, that will just show all the folders that the app monitors
and allow you to look through your pictures just like in a normal
browser (showing only pictures and folders).

It's not so important, but still, it is somehow annoying, that you would
always have to change the view mode after start-up if you just don't
like the 'Event' view mode. Could you make it configurable somehow?
That'd be nice. (Just put it on the wishlist.)
