I'm seeing this as well: after upgrading to 15.04, I sometimes don't get
automatically connected to my default network, because it hasn't been
found yet. A manual 'sudo iwlist scan' is needed to get it to find the
network, upon which it does automatically connect.
I installed a fresh copy of 15.04
Mmmm, ya, forget about MBR. Just wasn't going to get it without a good bit of
effort I think.
Also noticed that I kept having to reboot because LiveCD was using the sda swap
partition. Once I swapoff, I wouldn't have to reboot.
So going back to a fresh install with UEFI, GPT, LVM, Encrypted Driv
I've had some other problems and have since reinstalled 15.04, retaining
only /home. The issue disappeared with that. Sorry I can't be more
helpful.

I found the same behaviour. Plasma crash in different conditions (i.e.
different applications running) recovering with a black screen with just
an incomplete default panel and the cursor. I have made a new user with
a fresh configuration and after some time the same thing happens.

The same issue occurs with gccgo-5 on Ubuntu 15.04, this time installing
gccgo-5 causes a partial installation of GCC 5 to be installed. clang++
then tries to use the partial GCC 5 install instead of GCC 4.9 and fails
because libstdc++ is missing from the GCC 5 partial installation in
/usr/lib/gcc/

I finally got around to upgrade my work laptop (first gen dell XPS
sputnik system (ivy bridge)) yesterday, to find myself with a completely
unusable and sluggish desktop, constantly spinning CPU fans and a hot
enough laptop case that you can burn your fingers after the first r
just for completeness (in case someone looks for a wrokaround), adding
intel_pstate=disable to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT in /etc/default/grub
and running sudo update-grub got me the ondemand driver back and got the

I installed and booted kernel v4.1rc5. The results are the same as
above.

The install of the kernel did give the error as described in your link
(KernelMainlineBuilds) when out-of-tree modules are installed. I was unable to
find information on how to disable them and the boot was succ

Just to let you know, I use the latest Eclipse Lun

to be terminated with `SIGKILL` in order to be able to start new `gnome-
terminal`s.

For those who can't wait for this to be back ported into Vivid, you can
grab libtimezone 0.4.4 for Wily and install it. I'm yet to see any ill
effects from doing this. If you're more paranoid, recompiling is also an
option.
