Looks to me like this would be an issue caused by remaining files from
other iso images when they are done using usb-creator.

This appears to be caused (at least, as reported to me by Marc
Deslauriers) by stray files left over from a previous Desktop image copy
on the USB drive; if it has not been formatted before writing the Server
image files to the drive.
If you're seeing this issue and are able to reproduce it easily
I believe this is a duplicate of bug 1448942 .
Can you test the kernel posted in comment 19 of that bug?

That may be, and I'll take a look, but when using usb-creator-kde (and I
assume other versions as well), it formats the USB drive before it
begins any copy process.
