More details on todays behaviour:
After boot both screens come up, but sometimes seat-1 does appear,
sometimes not and instead seat0 display extends to both monitors.
Regardless of whether seat-1 appears or not, the initial position of
mouse pointer of seat0 is offset BUT related to seat0's monito
xml for the created vm.
This applies to all vm's created via openstack through libvirt.

it (ie, VMs launched under local libvirt (ie, not OpenStack) don't have

First of all, thanks for this lovely script!
Upon installation on my kubuntu vivid, I've tried the hollywood, but it did
nothing.
I've ran it from byobu (screen backend), from a tty console (a la Alt-F6), and
from an xterm console - all with the same results.

I am running maas-*-1.7.1 and I am still getting this on machines when
trying to commission them. These machines used to commission just fine,
maybe before the last update. Now nothing commissions. What kinds of
logs are useful and from which machines, the maas server or the client

No Nvidia libraries proposed for installation any more.

Anyway, have you tried to simplify your config files? For example, in your
udev rules, you don't need to tag anything as "seat0" explicitly, and in
your xorg.conf file, are you sure you need all that "Screen" and

This breaks a common usage pattern for nagios-nrpe-server. People want
to dynamically adjust thresholds on checks performed by the nrpe agent.
On top of that, there is no security hole in the default installation.

How much free (unallocated) space was available on the flash drive? If
there's adequate free space on any device the button in the lower right

As for the /tmp and /var/tmp denials, Dave mentioned that adding the following
rules silenced the denials:
/tmp/ r,
/var/tmp/ r,
I'm not a fan of those rules in general, because it gives the VMs read
access to the directory and they can see what is in there. However I
also don't want to break

With new intel-drm-nightly, blank screen / cpu spinning happens at boot.
If I run in recovery mode I can get to the desktop, and then the same
behavior occurs on suspend/resume. These logs reflect the first case.
