Yes this is still an issue.
It is a bit more complex than it initially seemed.
In order to remove Wine dependencies to a separate package the packaging will
have to be totally changed.
I will have to go through an individually list each dependency separately for
the build depends for the individu
I installed lately kubuntu 14.04LTS and tested it against 12.04LTS.
And finally I'm disappointed because of longer KDE startup, more memory

So adding qemu-kvm fixed the issue with running nested KVM. I think

On the second restart it allowed me to log-in. I ran Synaptic and
removed all the broken packages, then reinstalled those I needed with
all the proper dependencies.

I have enabled hibernation because for me it's very important to not
loose all my work when I shutdown my computer.
But we my computer resume, it crashes nearly all the time.

usually over night but twice while I was using it. I initially suspected
VirtualBox as each time it happened to me I had a USB device attached to

I did some more testing and I nailed the change to the 3.15.7 kernel update.
I must have confused versions in my initial report.
Anyways, looking throught the changelog for that kernel version I found
