to the filefrag command gives a different result from executing the
command without the '-v' switch, for the same file.

I had this problem but got my controller working by installing the
"trusty" 3.14.1 kernel from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/
It's was mostly painless by following this guide:
