Okay, so I've removed the proprietary driver and then rebooted with the
normal driver with nomodeset removed. However, it won't boot to the

This package will most likely not install under 64-bit version of Linux,
probably due to the fact that the PVCAM library (only available in
binary format) has been built for 32-bit environment in medieval kernel
2.4 epoch :-)
Solution: install 32-bit Linux. (I tested with Mint 16 32-bit).

Can no longer swipe the keyboard from the top to make it disappear anymore.
This seems to break after the upgrade to Qt5.3.
Note, similar problem occurred when switching from Qt5.1->Qt5.2
