The issue turned out to be root owned ~/.juju/environments from what I
observed. This can be resolved by removing that directory and letting
juju re-create the directory to warehouse the .jenv's with the proper
permissions on bootstrap.

the time of this bug report with OpenSC upstream, OpenSC-CardContact
upstream and Ubuntu's 0.13.0 version. I did not manage to find a set of

NOTE: Virtualbox has lost the ability to access USB-devices, lsusb displays
them, but NOTHING is detected by Virtualbox (Virtualbox, Settings, USB). This
MIGHT be caused by the above.
But I'm NOT sure "linux-image-3.13.0-24-generic" has worked in this regard.

/etc/pm/sleep/*, pm-utls is involved with /etc/pm* and pm-utils is not

I also confirm this bug.
I have Ubuntu 14.04 x64 (kernel 3.13.0-29-generic) on Asus X75V laptop.
Wi-fi is disabled on boot. I have to close and open laptop to hibernate it and
wake up to activate wi-fi. This is the first issue. I can live with that, but
hope it can be fixed in the next patch. Fn+

Just to give you guys an update, I suspect that the xdg-screensaver script is
actually the source of the problem. This is a common way for media players to
interact with screensavers, as there is on default/standard that all
screensavers stick to.
For that I haven't found a cure yet.
