I initially thought that this was due to the LVM metadata parsing
improvements in 2.02~beta2, but upon inspection the low-level tools were
producing the same results in both 2.00 and 2.02~beta2. In fact this
bug was introduced by 55e706c918922def17f5012c23cfe88c4c645208, which
caused /etc/grub.d/3

Yup that's what I did. Changed that back to one and my test window
popped up! i noticed something else while testing that, don't know if

According to this list, gstreamer1.0-plugins-base is needed to play .ogm
video files. However, parole does not depend on this package, so it is
not installed automatically (totem also installs gstreamer1.0-plugins-

else being alive, and as jlebar noted, it will be

Although it'll come from the Ubuntu repos, so as long as Ubuntu includes the
