This mainly happens when you have two screens, and one of them has a
bigger height (i.e. vertical). When you align the one with default panel
to the top of second display (with bigger height) bug disappears, but of
course this configuration is hard to use.

After upgrading Ubuntu 12.04 -> 14.04 I also experience freeze after
waking up my laptop from suspend. The only way to login is to reboot the
machine. Restarting lightdm doesn't help.

My mistake, LibreOffice 4.2.3 rc3 does not work in Kubuntu 13.10 either,
but copying the 2 files I mentioned earlier also fix it. One thing I
have noticed is that all LibreOffice windows now appear behind the
