I had the same issue, the problem was that the localized name of the
"Downloads" folder contained non-ascii characters (Stažené). As
workaround, move the .iso to /tmp or ~ (if that one is ascii-clean) and
select it using the "other" button.

I have an Acer One D150 and using Firefox (latest in 14.04) it appears to
download Chrome deb but will not install via Ubuntu Software Center. After
clicking on install it does nothing else apparently, and returns the install
button as if it was not pressed.
No error messages etc.

The tests shouldn't fail without the various other packages you list; it
just causes some tests to be skipped. I don't think those ones are
really worth build-dependencies. I agree that we should explicitly
build-depend on automake (>= 1.10.1), though, so I'll do that for the

Same here on my Lenovo W530. Seems like a related issue: I have press
[Esc] to get to the disc unlock menu, instead of being directed to a
nice dark violet color inteface automatically (which I know should be

I changed the package from gstreamer0.10 to gstreamer1.0 since 0.10
isn't getting developed anymore. I don't know if the combinantion of
Rhythmbox 3.01 with gstreamer1.0 in Trusty will yield better results
than the combination in Saucy since I haven't upgraded yet.
