BTW if you've set to lock the screen by default when screensaver
starts, just running:

while using software sources in the freshly updated trusty 32 daily from
2 days before to activate the proposed checkbox , the 4 checkboxes faded
and were not clickable anymore. right after that the sources cant be
loaded , the error-report came ;

My minimum requirements test computer will not install the Trusty 32 bit
server daily ISO (I have tried 2013.11.25; 2103.12.02; 2014.03.18;
2014.03.19). It installs the 13.10 32 bit Server edition fine, and will
update from there to 14.04.

No, it was not. The language menu had been shown by default in Ubuntu
since lightdm-gtk-greeter 1.3.1-0ubuntu2.

transparency was removed from gnome-terminal 3.8, its quite possible to
some other component has changed since then, thus breaking transparency
