I've done a few more tests. All tests are done in an english Ubuntu
13.10 qemu/kvm virtual machine, just to be sure that neither my host
hardware nor my language settings are the problems.

I've failed to downgrade to older hplip, but Foomatic just works so It's

During a rebuild of all packages in sid, your

with the recent update to Version 32.0.1700.102 Ubuntu 13.10
(32.0.1700.102-0ubuntu0.13.10.1~20140128.970.1), the flash plugin
chrashes. there is no obvious error displayed. but chromium gets
completely unusable on pages using flash, like facebook, etc.

I'd like to re-open this bug. This still doesn't work and id *does* seem
to be a problem with Unity. I'm on 13.10 with the latest Orcacle Java
and the latest Minecraft build. Running it through compiz (i.e. Unity)
has the fullscreen issue. Running Minecraft in Gnome Shell our without
any DE at all
I have this problem on 3 different machines that I want to upgrade from
lucid to precise. I tried the fix of above but it did not work for me:

Hi, I had the same problem. Tested a lot. My solution to passthrough usb
devices to a windows 7 x64 guest:
parameter part:
-device usb-ehci,id=usb,bus=pci.0,addr=0x4 -device usb-
host,vendorid=0x{},productid=0x{},id=hostdev0,bus=usb.0
I also tried the device
piix4-usb-uhci
instead of usb-ehci
My machines are amd64, in case that makes a difference.
